Celebrating Growth: COMFWB Zimbabwe’s Expansion and Advocacy Initiatives

In recent years, COMFWB Zimbabwe has stepped up its advocacy and outreach efforts, expanding beyond Harare to empower women entrepreneurs across Zimbabwe’s provinces.

🗣️ Expansion in Bulawayo; A Milestone for Women’s Economic Networks

In July 2025, the Chapter officially launched its expansion into Bulawayo, one of Zimbabwe’s major economic hubs. This strategic move included a Women’s Breakfast event that brought together entrepreneurs, mentors and stakeholders; providing invaluable networking and learning opportunities.

🤝 Boosting Trade Ties with International Partners

COMFWB Zimbabwe has also partnered with organisations such as the Zim-UK Business Chamber to host trade indabas that promote investment and market linkages with countries such as the United Kingdom; fostering international business opportunities for Zimbabwean women.

📣 Advocacy for Better Trade Environments

Across its activities, COMFWB Zimbabwe champions a more inclusive business environment, advocating for policies that remove barriers and enhance women’s participation in formal trade and development sectors.
